Photos from Ohio

We were quite the group at the airport. There were 15 of us (5 under the age of 10) with our cameras and signs and stuff. I'm sure we were a sight for all the other people coming in. We gathered right outside the security check point so that mom and dad would see us.

Becky's oldest daughter, Gillian, plays indoor soccer right now. It just happened that she had a game on Saturday afternoon while we were in Ohio so the whole family (all 17 of us) caravaned to the YMCA to watch. She scored 3 or 4 goals and her team won. Gillian is second from the left in the picture.

To celebrate all of the birthdays in the family ofer the past 2 years, we went to the Piketon, Ohio, version of Chuck E. Cheese. The pizza was amazing. We won so many tickets for all of the kids. They got all the stuff they wanted from the prize booth. Grandma and Grandpa got into the spirit of things and played skeeball.

I'm finding it hard to describe this photo. It isn't ALL of the adults. It isn't ALL of the endowed adults. I guess it's my parents, their kids and spouses. We are standing in front of the Columbus, Ohio, Temple after a sealing session. It's a small temple so you have to make an appointment to go. Strange for me, but it was so busy. We couldn't get an appointment for an endowment session but I think it was more fun to do sealings. We were able to visit with each other in between sealings. The sealer has a grandson who is in the same mission with Evan.

Our Family

Deric is attending CSN and UNLV for the Spring, 2013 semester. He will be taking classes towards a degree in Mechanical Engineering. In May, he will graduate from CSN with an Associate Degree in Spanish. He works as a customer service representative for the City of Las Vegas at the Stupak Community Center. His callings in the church include Service Committee Co-Chair, Institute Student Council Member, Indexing Committee Member and Sacrament Meeting Chorister in the singles ward. He is also the 11-year-old scout leader in our home ward.

Felycia is a college graduate!!!! She finished her degree on December 7, 2012. She is now looking to do some substitute teaching for the Spring semester. She enjoyed her student teaching with a great mentor teacher. She has found housing with two girls from her ward. She loves living in St. George and being involved in the YSA program. She is on the Temple and Family History Council and is a Relief Society teacher.

Conrad is the bishop in our ward. That keeps him plenty busy. He is still at the City of North Las Vegas in the computer department. I keep telling him that he needs to get some hobbies that have nothing to do with work or church. He needs something to do in what little down time he has.

I am a Family History Consultant in our ward. I love my calling. I'm not having much luck with my own line, but I'm learning the skills to help others find their ancestors. I stay busy with my books, crafts, and work. I love my job because I have so much fun there.
